The prize money for the tournament was 150,000 dollars which is an Asian record. Mohammedan SC defeated the country's Bangladesh League winners Abahani Limited (Dhaka) 1-0 in an exciting final match attended by a crowd of 40,000 in the country's international venue Bangabandhu National Stadium.[2] The second Super Cup final will be staged on 6th August 2011 at Bangabandhu National Stadium. It will be contested between 2010-2011 Bangladesh League winner Abahani Limited (Dhaka) and Mohammedan Sporting Club (Dhaka).[3] Abahani Limited (Dhaka) won the second Grameenphone Super Cup final by beating Mohammedan at tie-breaker.
