Citizens' Industrial Alliance

Citizens' Industrial Alliance

The Citizens' Industrial Alliance was a national pro-employer organization in the United States, and became a parent to thousands of local branches of the Citizens' Alliance. The Citizens' Industrial Alliance was initially called the National Industrial Association, but followed the lead of local campaigns in adopting a name similar to the National Citizens' Industrial Alliance, a populist organization from the previous decade.[1][2] Some historians have referred to the organization with other variations on the name, such as the Citizens' Industrial Association.[3]
