(Buckton, 1881)Cinara cupressi (or the cypress aphid) is an brown-ish soft-bodied aphid. It sucks sap out of giant conifers, and can cause damage to the tree, ranging from discoloring of the affected twig to the death of the tree.[1] It is an invasive species and is in the world's 100 most invasive species along with being invasive in Africa and Europe.
