Church Glacier

Church Glacier (71°51′S 167°34′E / 71.85°S 167.567°E / -71.85; 167.567) is a tributary glacier, 10 miles (16 km) long, flowing southward along the west side of Church Ridge to enter Leander Glacier northwest of Shadow Bluff, in the Admiralty Mountains. It was mapped by the United States Geological Survey from surveys and from U.S. Navy air photos, 1960–63, and named by the Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names for Brooks D. Church, a laboratory management technician at McMurdo Station, 1966–67 and 1967–68.
