The Nikon Chronicle or Chronicle of Nikon (Russian: Никоновская летопись), also known as the Patriarch's Chronicle (Russian: Патриаршья летопись), is a major 16th century Russian chronicle. It was named after patriarch Nikon, who owned a copy. In 18th century it was published under the name "Russian Cronicle According to Nikon's Copy" (Руская^[1] летопись по Никонову списку).

The chronicle covers events of 859-1520 years, with additional texts for 1521-1558, as well as detailed tales on particular events, such as "Tale of the Battle of the Neva", "Tale of the Battle of the Ice", "Tale of the Tokhtamysh Invasion", "Tale of the Death of Mikhail of Tver," etc.

The chronicle contains a large number of facts not found in earlier sources. They are traditionally called "Additions to Nikon's Chronicle". Many historians, starting from Nikolay Karamzin, treat them with caution.
