Christ of the Ohio is a statue of Jesus Christ in Troy, Indiana. It is located on a Fulton Hill, which overlooks the Ohio River. The statue was commissioned by Dr. Nicholas James and was sculpted by Herbert Jogurst, a German prisoner of war who was held in Kentucky during World War II. The statue is made of a combination on terrazatine dust and concrete to endure harsh weather. The project was completed in 1956.
