Chris Sharp (born 19 June 1986) is a Scottish footballer who currently plays for Conference National side AFC Telford United. He is the son of former Scotland international footballer Graeme Sharp.

Career

Rhyl

Born in Liverpool, Sharp began his playing career with Rhyl graduated from the reserves to make his first appearance for the club,[1] Sharp went on to make six starts plus nine subtitute appearances also scoring two goals during his first season at the club. During the UEFA Cup match against FK Sūduva the following season, Sharp was injured and suffered a broken leg that meant he had to sit out the entire season. He went on the make a full recovery and appeared making a total 38 appearances for the club, seventeen starts and fourteen as a substitute during the 2007–08 campaign, scoring five goals in the process. During the summer of 2008 Sharp and Rhyl came to a mutual aggreament and terminated his contract.

Bangor City

He signed for Bangor City prior to the 2008–09 season, Sharp went on to score 20 goals in 23 starts in the league before injury in the form of a broken arm in a tackle against Caernarfon Town in February 2009 forced him to miss the rest of the season. The following season he went on to play 21 games, scoring 15 goals for the North Wales club.

The New Saints

Sharp signed an eighteen month contract with The New Saints on 19 January 2010.[2]

Telford United

He signed for Conference National side AFC Telford United for an undiscolsed fee on 30 August 2011.[3]
