Chris Micklewood (born 14 March 1987 in Westville, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa) is a rugby union player who played at utility back for Newcastle Falcons.

Micklewood was raised in South Africa, achieving U18 honours at International level.[1]

He spent an unsuccessful loan period at Sale Sharks, turning out for their jets team regularly in late 2007. During this period he also played for Macclesfield RUFC. Subsequently in 2008 he played for London Scottish before returning to South Africa. After this he returned to Europe to play for Brive.[1] He joined CA Brive in 2008 without making an appearance, before signing for Newcastle Falcons at the start of the 2009–10 Guinness Premiership season.
