Christopher (Chris) McCooey Born 1949
Tunbridge WellsChildren Matthew, Emi Official website Chris McCooey is a freelance journalist[1] and author. He was born in Tunbridge Wells in 1949 and has contributed travel and gardening articles to The Times,[2] The Daily Telegraph,[3] The Financial Times,[4] The Daily Mail[5] and The Daily Express. He has written a number of local history books and gives talks to local societies in Kent and Sussex. He was educated at Skinners School and University College, Oxford (where he was a contemporary of Bill Clinton). He is the father of actor, Matt McCooey.
