Chris King (basketball)

Christopher (Chris) Donnell King (born July 24, 1969 in Newton Grove, North Carolina) is a retired American professional basketball player, most notably for the NBA. King got his start at playing high school basketball for the Hobbton High School Wildcats.

King, a 6'7" small forward from Wake Forest University, was selected by the Seattle SuperSonics in 2nd round (45th pick overall) of 1992 NBA Draft. He was a member of the Vancouver Grizzlies' inaugural season (1995–96) for whom he played 80 of 82 games, averaging 7.9 points and three rebounds per game. His final appearance in the league was in 1999 with the Utah Jazz.
