Source: [www.Cricinfo.com]Chris Chuck (born Christopher Peter Chuck on the 26th February 1985 in Shepparton, Victoria) was a state and professional player listed cricketer in Melbourne, Victoria.
Career
A right-arm fast bowler and aggressive middle order RH batsman, Chuck was quickly snapped up by premier club Geelong after impressing at a state training camp in 2004.
After an impressive start to his premier career, and a season with the Victorian Bushrangers Chuck was hampered by shoulder and back injuries that resulted in him missing the entire 2006/07 season. During this time Chuck coached at Victorian Sub District club Bayswater and subsequently returned to playing via the same club.
After struggling to regain his previous form, Chuck spent time under the guidance of Cricket Victoria's bowling coaches Tim Magascal, and David Saker. Under the tutelage of Saker, Chuck was reintroduced into the Victorian Bushrangers training program in 2009. After training with the Bushrangers for most of the 2008/09 season Chuck ended the season prematurely with a recurring shoulder injury that he is yet to return from.
At his best, Chuck was best known for his aggression at the crease, and the ability to generate impressive pace and steep bounce.
