Lieutenant Corporal Chris Budgen is a Rugby Union player for Exeter Chiefs in the Aviva Premiership. He made his debut for Exeter on 30 September 2008 against Esher. His position of choice is Prop.

Also, Budgen proudly holds the title of the only Premiership player currently serving with the British Armed forces, being stationed on Salisbury Plain and having served in Helmand.

He has scored two tries so during the 2010–2011 season, one of which was against his former club Northhampton.
