Choqa (Mountains) Range Country Ethiopia Highest point Mount Choqa - elevation 4,070 m (13,353 ft) - coordinates 10°42′00″N 37°52′00″E / 10.7°N 37.8666667°E Length 200 km (124 mi), northwest to southeast Mount Choqa (also known as Mount Birhan) is one of the highest mountains of Gojjam, a region of Ethiopia located south of Lake Tana. The range lacks forests and its slopes are cultivated up to an elevation of 3,000 metres above sea level.[1]
