Chittaranjan High School

Chittaranjan High School (English Medium) is the only English Medium School run by Chittaranjan Locomotive Works. The school follows the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education & the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education. This is one of the best school in Chittaranjan located in the district of Burdwan on West Bengal. The most famous principal of this school was Mr. R.K. Bose (Rajkumar). During his period, the school achieved most of its glory. A very dedicated set of teachers was in his team. The school has a very good laboratory facility. The building is T-shaped. Its two-storey building and having one underground building which is connected to the auditorium. The entrance gives a way straight towards auditorium and on both side two ways class rooms are there. In this school are two playgrounds. There having class in two session one at morning that is for primary students and other at afternoon time for 6th-10+2 students.

The biggest advantage is that in front of this school the famous hospital Kasturba Gandhi Hospital(KGH)is located.This school was established in the year of 1967 .This is one of the best School of Chittaranjan Locomotive Works(CRJ).The name of the School came from famous freedom fighter Chittaranjan Das.There are two playground in this school.
