Krytar i Gykates e LartëNominator Bamir Topi as President of AlbaniaAppointer Albanian Parliament Succession Assumes viceregal duties upon the death or incapacitation of the Governor-General Website gjykataelarte.gov.al The Supreme Court of Albania consists of the Chief Justice of Albania (Albanian: Krytar i Gykates e Lartë) and thirteen Judges, all appointed by the Assembly of the Republic of Albania (President of Albania is the nominator). All thirteen are chosen from either sitting judges or barristers who have at least ten years' standing at the Bar of a province or territory. The Chief Justice is sworn as a member of the Supreme Court of Albania prior to taking the oath of office as Chief Justice.
