Fictional character biography
Chickenwings was a member of the Morlocks, many of whom where slaughtered during the events of Mutant Massacre by the Marauders. Chickenwings was maimed in an attack by Sabretooth, and lost the ability to fly as a result of losing his left arm. Chickenwings and another Morlock, Mole, left the Morlocks' "Alley" after the Massacre. They survived and subsisted as homeless men in the streets of New York City until Sabretooth decided to hunt down the survivors of the Massacre. He stalked and attacked the pair, killing Chickenwings.[volume & issue needed]
Powers and abilities
Chickenwings possessed hollow bones and wings under his arms which allowed him to fly. After losing an arm to Sabretooth, he could achieve brief periods of lift, but was unable to actually take flight.
