Chicago City Limits, at 318 West 53rd Street in Manhattan, is an improvisational comedy troupe in New York City, New York.[1][2]

It was founded by George Todisco and a number of actors and had its first show on Labor Day, 1977, and is New York City's oldest improv comedy club.[3][2][4] It has had over 8,500 performances.[5] Originally formed in Chicago, it moved to New York City in 1980—first to Theater Row, then to Jan Hus Church, then to East 61st Street, and most recently to its present location.[4]

In 2008, it received the Award for Best Comedy Group by the Manhattan Association of Cabarets and Clubs.[6] In 2011, Top 10 New York City by Eleanor Berman rated it one of New York City's top 10 comedy clubs.[7]
