Chhota Bheem Aur Krishna

Chhota Bheem Aur Krishna is an Indian animated movie featuring the Chhota Bheem, the star of an Indian television cartoon program. It was the first movie featuring Bheem.

Plot

In the movie Bheem fails to defeat the demon Kirmada, so he is forced to seek the help and blessings of Lord Krishna. Krishna then appears as a cowherd and helps him. Together they defeat Kirmada.

Series background

About 500 years ago, the five kingdoms around Dholakpur joined together to end Kirmada's rule. Now a mysterious force has brought him back from the dead. With a goblin army at his back, he soon puts the kingdom around Dholakpur under his power. He attacks Dholakpur with his goblin army. The Dholakpur Army led by Bheem fight bravely but they are no match to the never ending army of the magically powerful Goblins. Soon, Kirmada captures Dholakpur's King. The War is over. Dholakpur is captured. All except Bheem have escaped his Iron Grip. Kirmada realizing the threat from Bheem asks his men to capture him & his friends but they manage to escape narrowly.

Reception

The movie was released during Janamastmi and was a very big hit.^{[citation needed]} It was considered to be a great success as it became number one on Indian television screens.^{[citation needed]} Greengold Animation and the broadcasters Cartoon Network and Pogo TV also became household names as a result of the movie's great visibility.^{[citation needed]}
