The Cheshire Show is a big county agricultural show currently held on 2 days in June each year on land west of Flittogate Lane in the Tabley area in Cheshire, England.
Because it attracts a huge amount of traffic, traffic coming to it from the Manchester direction along the A556 road cannot make a right turn in but has to go on past the showground and make a U-turn at the roundabout at the east end of the Northwich bypass and come back to the showground and make a left turn in.
Traffic arrangements in 2011 (21–22 June 2011) were different: incoming traffic, and passing northeastwards traffic along the A556, was diverted at the roundabout near Lostock Gralam through Lostock Gralam, Higher Wincham, Pickmere, and to the north end of Flittogate Lane. A hard standing for motorcycles was provided. Outgoing traffic was diverted northwards and ended up at or near High Legh on the A50 road between Warrington and Knutsford.
