Chesbro Reservoir is located on Llagas Creek, three miles (5 km) west of Morgan Hill, California, United States. The reservoir can store 7,945 acre-feet (9.8 million m³) of water, and its surface area is 283 acres (115 ha).
The reservoir was created on the construction of Chesbro Dam in 1955, and they are both named for Elmer J. Chesbro, a local doctor who was president of the Santa Clara Valley Water Conservation District (now the Santa Clara Valley Water District) at the time.
