Promotional singles
Year Song Notes 1964 "Ringo, I Love You" - The first song recorded by Cher as a solo artist.[22] It was released only as a promotional single (Annette Records 1000) under the pseudonym Bonnie Jo Mason.[22]
"Dream Baby" - From her 1965 debut studio album All I Really Want To Do. The song was her first official single and was released as Cherilyn.[23]
1970 "Superstar" - The final song that Cher recorded under the Atco Records label was the Stan Vincent produced "Superstar".[24] The song appeared on a one-sided white label DJ promotional single.[24]
"(Just Enough To Keep Me) Hangin' On" 1971 "Don't Put It On Me" - B-side to the 1972 single "The Way of Love". "Don't Put It On Me" was released only for radio station in North America. In UK the song was released on April 7, 1971,[25] also here as a 7" promotional single.
1979 "Holdin' Out For Love" 1988 "Main Man" 1999 "The Star Spangled Banner" (live) - The national anthem of the United States of America was performed during the Super Bowl XXXIII in January 1999.[31] The song was released as a one-track CD promo in North America.[32]

1993 "I Got You Babe" - A duet with Beavis and Butt-head appears on the album The Beavis and Butt-Head Experience.[39]
1994 "It Ain't Necessarily So" - A collaboration with Larry Adler, recorded for the compilation The Glory Of Gershwin.[40] The song was also released as a single, but didn't enter in the charts.
1996 "A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes" - Appears on the compilation For Our Children Too!: To Benefit Pediatric AIDS Foundation.[41]
1999 "Crimson and Clover" - A duet with her second son Elijah Blue Allman, appears in the 1999 soundtrack of the film A Walk on the Moon.[42]
"The Star Spangled Banner" (live) - Appears on the compilation Sing America.[43]
"Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)" - A duet with Rosie O'Donnell, appears on the christmas album A Rosie Christmas.[44]
"Smoke Gets In Your Eyes" - Written by Jerome Kern and Otto A. Harbach it features on the Soundtrack for the film Tea With Mussolini
2000 "Tell Me (You're Coming Back)" - Performed by rock band Majic Ship from the album Songwaves Project, Cher sings backing vocals.[45]
2003 "Bewitched, Bothered And Bewildered" - A duet with Rod Stewart, appears on the cover album As Time Goes By: the Great American Songbook 2.[46]
2003 "Human" - The song appears in the film Stuck on You, and is produced by David Foster for the soundtrack. There was no official release, but in Germany the song was released on a promotional CD of the soundtrack called "Unzertrennlich" and that version clocks 3:49. The song can be heard during the end credits of the film and is played during a scene in a club. This is the first Farrelly Brothers film not to have an Official Soundtrack.
