Charlie Muirhead is a British Internet entrepreneur, founder and CEO of the 5th medium (T5M). In 2004, Muirhead received the European Technology Forum's 'Technology Entrepreneur of the Year' award.[1]
Prior to t5m, Charlie's previous role was as Founder and President of software company Nexagent, which he founded in 2001 with Chris Gare, formerly of Cable & Wireless, and David Page from Cisco Systems, with over £30m in funding from investors including Apax Partners, Atlas Venture, Benchmark Capital, Quester Capital, Lago Ventures, and iGabriel.
Awards
- Named European Technology Forum's "Technology Entrepreneur of the Year" in March 2004
- Selected twice as a World Economic Forum Technology Pioneer (with Nexagent in 2005 and Orchestream in 2000)
