Charles Stankievech (born 1978) is an artist, writer, educator and curator.

As a result of the wide spectrum of strategies and the conceptual drive behind the production, his work has been located in the Conceptual Art tradition (e.g. the exhibition Conceptual Filiations ^[1]).

Stankievech has published in academic journals,^[2] critical theory anthologies, artist catalogues, magazines, and fiction.^[3]

He is one of the founding faculty members of the experimental art college Yukon School of Visual Arts, Canada's most northern accredited art program established in 2007. As part of the curriculum, he created and curates the Over The Wire project series that invites established artsts to collaborate with students to produce new work under the restriction of long-distance communication.^[4]
