Charles Ronald Norgle, Sr.

Charles Ronald Sr. Norgle (born 1937) is a United States federal judge.

Born in Chicago, Illinois, Norgle received a B.B.A. from Northwestern University in 1964 and a J.D. from John Marshall Law School in 1969. He was an Assistant state's attorney of DuPage County, Illinois from 1969 to 1971. He was a Deputy public defender, DuPage County, Illinois from 1971 to 1973. He was an Associate judge, DuPage County, Illinois from 1973 to 1977. He was a Circuit judge, DuPage County, Illinois from 1977 to 1978. He was an Associate judge, DuPage County, Illinois from 1978 to 1981. He was a Circuit judge, DuPage County, Illinois from 1981 to 1984.

Norgle was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Norgle was nominated by President Ronald Reagan on September 10, 1984, to a new seat created by 98 Stat. 333. He was confirmed by the United States Senate on October 3, 1984, and received his commission on October 4, 1984.
