Sir Charles James Jessel, 1st Baronet Jessel of Ladham

Sir Charles James Jessel (11 May 1860 – 15 Jul 1928), 1st Baronet Jessel of Ladham,[1] was the former Vice Chairman of the British North Borneo Company (BNBC) (1903 - 1909). The city of Kota Kinabalu was previously named Jesselton [2] after the BNBC set up operations there.
