Charles Fane, 3rd Earl of Westmorland

Charles Fane, 3rd Earl of Westmorland (6 January 1635 – 18 September 1691)^[1] was a British peer and member of the House of Lords. Before succeeding to the peerage, he had been a Member of Parliament for Peterborough from 1660 to 1666.^[2]

His titles included Earl of Westmorland, Baron le Despencer and Baron Bergavenny. He was one of the nobles who deserted James II and took the side of William and Mary II.

He inherited the earldom from Mildmay Fane, 2nd Earl of Westmorland and was succeeded by Vere Fane, 4th Earl of Westmorland.
