Charbagh Coordinates: 34°30′N 72°16′E / 34.50°N 72.26°E Country Pakistan Province Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Elevation 980 m (3,215 ft) Time zone PST (UTC+5) Charbagh is the name of one of the villages in Charbagh Tehsil, in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. It is part of Swat District and is located at 34°50'0"N 72°26'30"E with an average altitude of 1032 meters (3370 feet).[1]
Charbagh tehsil is also known as MATORIZI tehsil and it boarders with BABOZAI tehsil and AZIKHEL tehsil. Some of the villages included in Charbagh tehsil include, Salanda, Jehanabad, Talegram, Sair, Shin Kad, Ganajir, Malam Jaba, Koat, Amanabad, Roshanabad, Charbagh, Mangultan, Asharbanr, Toha, Kandaw, Alabad, Dakorak, Landakey, Gulibagh, Alamganj, Landey , Derai and kemalpul the big village of charbagh where Ijaz Medical Centre Charbagh is working for the welfare of whole area.
The town was also a stronghold of the Taliban in Pakistan, in May 2009 Pakistan government had the town in their sights after routing the Taliban elsewhere in the district.[2]
