Chantal Dunbar is an Australian author, photojournalist, environmental communications specialist. Her literary works are usually based on Indigenous, environmental and sustainable tourism issues.
Among others, published titles include: Australia's Natural Treasures, Hayman Great Barrier Reef, Hayman [1] (the "Green Book"), Dunk Isle of Peace and Plenty, Where to Live in the Gold Coast, Where to Live in Adelaide, Where to Live in Logan, Where to Live in Brisbane, Where to Live in Mackay.
In 2007, Dunbar took over as Editor of Travelling in Australia Magazine, transforming the title into an award-winning bi-monthly that was renowned for its photography and investigative reporting. After highlighting the issue of traditional hunting rights of dugong in Far North Queensland and the Torres Straits, MP Greg Hunt raised the issue with media and called for Parliament to review current regulations.
