The Archeparchy of Diyarbakir is the only Chaldaean rite diocese in Turkey. It's a 1966 revival of the Chaldean Diocese of Amid, and the bishop lives in Beyoğlu, Istanbul.

The bishop is a suffragan to the Patriarch of Babylon.
