Chak No. 71 N.B. is situated at Khushab Road about 4 km away from Sargodha City. It consists of Fatima Jinnah Colony, Sabharwal Colony and Aslam Colony. Well-known social worker and politician, Mr. Babar Azam Faruki became Lumbardar (head) of this village after demise of his father Mr. Azam Riaz Faruki. He is a graduate in 1971 from Government College Sargodha. His wife, former District Councilor Mrs. Rubina Faruki is also graduate and social worker. Both belong to well known Faruki clan of Gujrat (Pakistan). Baber's forefather Mr. Riaz Faruki was Tehsildar (Revenue Officer) in 1920 who was allotted 100 acres of agricultural land along with lumbardari in this village. One of his forefathers served British Indian Army at the highest rank. The population of the village is about 2,000 persons and main clans are Dhool, Gondal, Rajput, Pathan, Awan, Basana and Nathoka etc. The village has all urban facilities i.e. telephone, gas, electricity, sewerage and soaling in the streets.There is also 2 very big beautiful mosque in this town. Basana family is well settled and mostly young person of this family settled abroad.The most educated person of village is Umer amir basana who is doing Ph.D in U.K. and another guy whose name MALIK SADAM SHAHZAD he is also one of the member of basana family. he is youngest boy of family at the age of 19 that live abroad and getting his higher education from university of Bedfordshire which is one of most popular university of world. His main aim is to enlighten the name of his country, town, and family with his good deeds and education . He also get a prize at inter classes competition for representing his country culture and heritage. The villagers is now progressing well and after some years would be the ideal village of region. NOW people of this town have awareness that without education we are noting.
