Football career
During his career, spent mostly in Portugal's lower leagues, César played with Gil Vicente FC, G.D. Joane, S.C. Freamunde, Dragões Sandinenses, C.D. Trofense, F.C. Lixa, Rio Ave F.C. and G.D. Ribeirão.
With the Vila do Conde outfit, he appeared seven times in the league, but only once in the first division, on 26 October 2008 (C.S. Marítimo 1 - Rio Ave 1).
