As-Salam College (English Mission College), Cairo

English Mission College was an Episcopalian missionary School located in the province of Heliopolis in Cairo, Egypt.

History

The School was established on April 24, 1936. It is considered one of the largest school in Heliopolis. It is divided into a primary stage school which is co-educational, two separate schools for each gender during preparatory and secondary stages with a garden and a large garage for buses.

In 1953, the name was changed to Episcopal Mission College, during this period, students took three day weekend; Friday, Saturday and Sunday. In the late seventies the school name was changed into As-salam College by the Egyptian Ministry of Education.
