Lynette Nusbacher (born Aryeh Nusbacher, 17 December 1966) is a military historian and strategist appointed Senior Lecturer in War Studies at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, UK. She headed the Strategic Horizons Unit in the Cabinet Office, and as of 2011[update] is director of the strategy think tank Nusbacher Associates.[1]

Education
Dr Nusbacher completed her honours BA in history and economics at the University of Toronto, studying under Northrop Frye, John Leyerle, Thayron Sandquist and Steven Muhlberger. She earned her MA in War Studies from the Royal Military College of Canada under Ronald Haycock and Michael Hennessy. Her DPhil from the University of Oxford was under Clive Holmes and David Parrott.
Publications
Among her publications (those before 2006 were published under the name Aryeh Nusbacher) are the book The Battle of Bannockburn, 1314,[2][3] the children's book War and Conflict,[4] and a paper titled "Civil Supply in the Civil War: Supply of Victuals to the New Model Army on the Naseby Campaign, 1–14 June 1645" in the English Historical Review.[5]
Television
Lynette Nusbacher was a consultant for the PBS series Ground War and appeared on the Crime and Investigation Network's Curious and Unusual Deaths series.
She made regular contributions (under the name Aryeh Nusbacher) to a wide variety of television programmes on military themes, amongst which Time Commanders was perhaps the most notable.[6]
Public Lectures
She delivered the 2006 Cecil Roth Memorial Lecture, "The Logistics of Exodus" at the London Jewish Museum.[7]
