Edge,[1] his first poetry book is published recently. His early poems have appeared in The Kathmandu Post, The Weather Report, and poems selected and published in Journeys[2] (anthologies by Sampad) and Happy Birthday to Me[3] (anthology by The Asian Writer). He's also regularly featured in MadSwirl[4] and is the founder/editor for The Applicant.

Budhathoki was born and grew up in Kathmandu. He has MA in International Relations from University of Northampton. He is particularly influenced by Sylvia Plath.
