Arturo Villavicencio is an Ecuadorian environmental researcher. Part of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change when it won the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize. He was nominated by Denmark in 1995 for the IPCC, which presented four reports regarding human activities contributing to climate change. Villavicencio made his contribution to the fourth report and received the Nobel Peace Prize as an active member of the IPCC.[1][2]
