Fiffin market

The infamous San Diego based group, Fiffin Market, formed as a group in the waning months of 2006. This boisterous gaelic/celtic punk band consists of:

Beau Gray-Guitar, Vocals

Kimberly Gray-Vocals

Marcel Leyva-Bass, Vocals

Odell "OD" Hobson-Viola, Percussion, Vocals

Cami Smith-Violin

"Big Daddy,Bulldog,Hot man,huge biceps" Brinton Ward-Drums, Lead Vocals

Prior to forming Fiffin Market, band members were engaged in playing with other top acts of the 2000's. Odell Hobson was the very visible fiddle player for The Dave Matthews Band(quit DMB to play with Fiffin), Marcel was an integral part of the group "El Solo Notro," or, "The Bleeding Hearts of Albuquerque". Brinton, the robust drummer, served his time as an underwater demolitions expert, while focusing on his experimental hiphop band, "Mambo Numbah 5."

The direction of the band seems clear, according to a recent interview in EBONY magazine. Says FM frontman Marcel,"We know who we are, and were not gonna stop. Sometimes as a band, you just gotta get where your going. Nothings clear about tomorrow or today for that matter. We just know the direction is clear, the road is straight, our way is made, and we know our name."

All things considered, we all would feel a little bit better if, just maybe, we could catch a glimpse of that great pillar of SoCal Lucky Charms, the great majestic shimmering of irish pride....known as Fiffin Market.
