Peter Hotez

Peter Hotez

Peter Hotez is the chairman of the department of Microbiology, Immunology, and Tropical Diseases at the George Washington University in Washington, D.C. He is also the president of the Sabin Vaccine Insitute, a vaccine development organization that focuses on diseases that do not receive attention in the industrialized world. He is the lead investigator of the Human Hookworm Vaccine Initiative, a GWU project dedicated to creating an effective vaccine against the hookworm parasite.Infobox Scientist
