Record Holders Republic

Record Holders Republic (RHR), was founded for and is run by world record holders to validate, authenticate, record and display (both on the internet and in print) human achievement world records. RHR, which is the organization for and by Record Holders from different organizations is governed by the rules and regulations of its original body 'Registry of Official World Records' based at USA and UK founded by Dean Gould, a multiple world record holder recognized by many world record associations.

RHR is now run by Dean Gould - President and Founder, Dr. David R. Adamovich - US President, and Thomas Blacke- US Vice President. The organization authenticates its own records based on a submission form by a potential world Record attemptee. RHR makes every attempt to verify and document its records, stunts and feats. The Registry cross references other human achievement world records authenticated by governing bodies such as sword swallowers, gastronomic specialists, etc. To this end an Advisory Panel consisting of specialists from a variety of fields and endeavors are used to render an opinion on records in which questionable methods may have been employed.

RHR's extensive database consisting of nearly 700 record holders and 1,400 human achievement world record was created with the cooperation of Ralf Laue, one of the most experienced and knowledgeable world record specialists in the world. Mr. Lau's site (www.recorholders.org) along with RHR led to the publication of The Book of Alterntive Records [http://www.alternativerecords.co.uk] . Spearheading a new project, RHR along with records submitted by the Book of Alterntive Records is publishing ‘Believe The Unbelievable’, the Book of Official Human Achievement World Records (Bartleby Press, 2008, in press. Adamovich, Blacke, Claydon, Gould).

Many of the members of RHR and multiple world record holders hold dual recognition with not only RHR but with Guinness World Records as well. Gould holds 4 Guinness World Records and Dr. Adamovich holds 4 Guinness World Records (tm) including "One of the top 100 Guinness World Records of All Time!" RHR has about 30 team members throughout the world.
