Candy Fundraisers

Candy fundraisers are considered direct sale fundraising programs. That means that participants in the fundraiser have the product or candy in their possession and hand it directly to a customer when that customer purchases the products. Direct sales different from pre sell fundraisers where fundraising participants sell using brochures and deliver product after the fact when the fundraiser is complete.

A candy fundraiser is the most common direct sale fundraiser.

Typically fundraising participants are given handled carriers full of candy. The candy is sold whereever candy buyers can be found. Many candy fundraisers have local businesses place candy carriers on counters so their customers can purchase candy and support the fundraising group.

There are many different candy fundraising products. National manufacturers such as Hersheys and Mars offer varfious fundraising bars. Other companies have been started to offer fundraising specific candy bars.

Groups holding candy fundraisers purchase candy before beginning their sale. A typical fundraising participant will sell one or two carriers of candy. Candy fundraising groups can make 50% profit or more on each candy bar sold.
