Canada andSwitzerland . The first Swiss consulate opend inMontreal in1875 and both countries established diplomatic relations in1945 . Canada has an embassy inBerne and a consulate inGeneva . Switzerland has an embassy inOttawa , 3 consulates generales (inMontreal ,Toronto andVancouver ) and 4 consulate (inCalgary ,Halifax ,Québec andWinnipeg ).
