The Siege of Chalcedon (616) the siege in which Khosrau II or Khosrow II (Chosroes II or Xosrov II) lay seige to Chalcedon in asia minor their the Romans had little time to gather a large army however Khosrau had a large and very powerfull army which incuded a boost,variety of a mixture of men incuding mercenary's and elephants,elephants had a majar part in this battle as they ramed through the enemy lines,and allowed the lighter men to slaughter the enemies.
