Lancashire ,England , serving theBlackpool suburb of Layton. It is managed byNorthern Rail and is unstaffed.It is the only railway station in the north of the town. Layton still has the air of an old-fashioned commuter station although these days most workers go from here to Blackpool or Preston. There are two platforms and regular services to and from Blackpool.
When the station first opened it was named Bispham railway station .
ervices
There is a basic hourly service in each direction on Monday to Saturday daytimes, provided by the Buxton to Blackpool North stopping trains.
First TransPennine Express services to Manchester Airport also stop at peak times and after 19.45 each evening.There is no Sunday service.
