Nanopol

Nanopol. ( Born 1969) Danish contemporary artist.

Born in Randers in 1969. Lived in Leipzig and Berlin from 1989-1994. Currently lives in Copenhagen.

Member of the artist group “ Partners in crime “ With Anders Brinch, Kristian Devantier and Jes Wind Andersen.

Nanopol describes his works as research and as portraits on the anatomy of sociology. His works are derived from world media, history, sci-fi theories, religion and everyday life. Set in the view of the guinea pig instead of the researcher, Nanopol takes the spectator to a journey through a range of questions and self-realisation.

Was co-founder of the Pro Art show in Randers 2005. The city of Randers was transformed into a massive Art Installation with works from the 3 leading academies in Denmark .
