Torbjørn Semb Dahl

Torbjørn Semb Dahl (born 5 May 1971) is a robotics and artificial intelligence researcher at the University of Wales, Newport in the United Kingdom. He is the founder and director of the Robotic Intelligence Lab.

Dr Dahl studies robot learning in particular and is most notable for being the first person to formalize the concept of group dynamics in multi-robot systems using the framework of job shop scheduling.Other contributions include the development of a novel robot behavior representation that allows reuse of generic skills in behavior-based robotics.
