status = RetreatingAmalia Glacier, also known as Skua Glacier, is a
tidewater glacier located inBernardo O'Higgins National Park . It originates in theSouthern Patagonian Ice Field and from 1945 to 1986 its terminus retreated 7 km, being, along with the receded ofO'Higgins Glacier , the most drastic retreat of the glaciers of the mentioned icefield during that period. cite web |title=P 1386-I Chile and Argentina - Wet Andes:History
