Bishop of Berwick

The Bishop of Berwick was a title given to suffragan bishop in the Church of England Diocese of Durham, which is within the Province of York, England."Crockford's Clerical Directory 2008/2009 (100th edition)", Church House Publishing (ISBN 978-0-7151-1030-0).] The title takes its name after the town of Berwick-upon-Tweed in Northumberland. Since the death of the only bishop in 1572, the title has remained in abeyance.
