1965 Australian Grand Prix

The 1965 Australian Grand Prix was a race held at the Longford Circuit on March 1, 1965. The race had 19 starters.

It was the 30th Australian Grand Prix, doubled as round seven of the 1965 Tasman Series and round two of the 1965 Australian Drivers' Championship. Bruce McLaren won his second and last AGP. It was the last AGP held at the Longford Circuit in Tasmania. Australian driver Rocky Tresise tragically lost his life in a first lap accident which also killed photographer Robin D'Abrera.
