Francis Xavier Ford was an American Roman Catholic missionary in China. Ordained as a priest, as a member of Maryknoll on December 5, 1917, he was ordained as a bishop September 21, 1935. He was imprisoned by the Communist Chinese, and died in prison in Canton February 21, 1952.
