Dann Read is a former management team member with the now defunct wrestling promotion, FWA. Read originally trained as a wrestler, via NWA Hammerlock, has worked as a referee for a number of promotions and ring announcer for FWA, also commentating on FWA TV as well as being the current commentator on RQW TV on TWC Fight. He also hosted his own Internet and local community wrestling radio show in Ipswich where he was always a passionate advocate of the British wrestling scene (and still is).

Read promoted a very well-received show in Ipswich in July 2002, the FWA shows in Sudbury and co-promoted the FWA show in Colchester in April 2006 which featured Billy Kidman, stars of NOAH and Bret Hart among many others. He also currently promotes and books X-Sports Wrestling and ChickFight events in the UK. Behind the scenes, he has worked backstage on many FWA shows and also did a huge amount of work behind-the-scenes for the super shows International Showdown and especially at Universal Uproar and the first ROH and TNA tours of the UK.
