Nashville ,Tennessee located in the northwestern portion of Davidson County alongInterstate 24 (Exit 35) and junctions withU.S. Highway 431 . Part of Joelton is within the municipal boundaries of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, but it retains a separate identity as a community. Parts of Joelton bordering Exit 31 off ofInterstate 24 lie in Cheatham County.Joelton is a semi-rural community of farms and suburban neighborhoods 20 minutes north of Nashville at latitude 36.31 and longitude -86.87. It sits on a ridge, called
